Open API Terms of Use

Article 1. Purpose

These Open API Terms of Use (“Open API Terms”) apply in addition to ZEPETO Render-it General Terms of Use when you use the Open API Service within ZEPETO Render-it.

Article 2. Definition

① Definition

  1. “Open API Service” refers to an individual service within ZEPETO Render-it, allowing End Users to render 3D images based on ZEPETO Contents connected to your account at ZEPETO and use API (URL) of the final contents.

  2. “End Users” mean the users of ZEPETO Render-it who agree to these Open API Terms and use Open API Service.

② Any terms not defined in this Definition will be interpreted according to the terms defined in ZEPETO Render-it Terms, ZEPETO’s Terms, or relevant laws and regulation.

Article 3. Use of Open API Service

① You may not use Open API Service unless you agree to these Open API Terms. You can find how to use Open API Service on the guidance or notice page.

② In order to connect Open API Service with ZEPETO, you must register as a member at ZEPETO and follow the process we provide within ZEPETO Render-it. Please find how to connect with ZEPETO at here.

③ By connecting with ZEPETO as in the foregoing Item 2, you are deemed to agree that ZEPETO Contents may be provided within Open API Service. You may connect ZEPETO Contents to the extent Open API Service allows, and the scope of ZEPETO contents to be connected may be changed if there are any changes to ZEPETO Render-it, Open API Service, ZEPETO Terms, ZEPETO Render-it Terms, or licenses granted by the third parties.

④ Your right to use the contents created using Open API Service is subject to NAVER Z’s license granted to you. As the copyright and other intellectual property rights to ZEPETO Contents are owned by NAVER Z or relevant right holders, you must use Open API Service in compliance with ZEPETO Render-it Terms, ZEPETO Terms, and these Open API Terms.

⑤ License granted to you by NAVER Z can be found in Open API Operation Policies at here. You can use Open API Service and the contents created through Open API Service only for non-commercial and non-profit purpose. If you want to use the contents for commercial purpose or intend to make profits from the contents, you must obtain prior written consent from NAVER Z and enter into a separate partnership agreement with NAVER Z.

Article 4. Fees and Payments of Open API Service

① You will pay all fees charged to your account (“Fees”) based on your usage according to the prices and terms on the applicable pricing page, or as otherwise agreed between us in writing.

② General terms and conditions regarding fees, billing, payment, settlement, and refund are found in ZEPETO Render-it Terms, unless otherwise agreed between us in writing.

Article 5. Other Terms and Conditions

ZEPETO Render-it Terms will apply to those not defined in these Open API Terms. In case of any conflict or inconsistency between these Open API Terms and ZEPETO Render-it Terms, these Open API Terms shall prevail.






ZEPETO Render-it: Open API Service Operation Policies

These Open API Service Operation Policies define the license scope of the contents you created through the Open API Service (the “Contents”). You must use the Contents in compliance with these Open API Service Operational Policies.

  1. You can create your own Contents (i.e. images, videos, etc.) by using 3D image contents created and rendered by Open API Service.

  2. You may use the Contents solely for non-commercial/non-profit purpose. You shall not use the Contents for commercial advertisements or to make any profits by using the Contents.

    Examples of permitted use of the Contents include:

    ① Informative content

    ✔️ Production of the contents introducing new employees of OO corporation

    ✔️ Production of OO university library guide contents

    ② License scope of personal use

    ✔️ Small amount of goods using the Contents produced for personal use, possessed privately, or distributed free of charge (however, sales for commercial purposes or making profits from such sales are strictly prohibited)

    ✔️ Production of personal event materials

    ✔️ Use the Contents for personal homepage

  3. If you want to use the Contents for commercial purpose or intend to make profits from the Contents, you must obtain prior written consent from NAVER Z and enter into a separate partnership agreement with NAVER Z. Please contact us to discuss the details.

    Examples of prohibited use of the Contents include:

    ① Advertisement/Promotional Contents: Not only the businesses or companies, but also individuals, NGOs, schools, and public institutions cannot use the Contents for promotion or advertisement.

    ❌ Promotional posters, promotional videos, any offline advertisements, etc.

    ❌ Promotional materials related to products, services and brands

    ❌ Promotional materials of commercial events

    ❌ All types of advertising contents (i.e. videos uploated on social network services, OTT videos, banners, any offiline advertisements, etc.)

    ❌ All types of contents incurring advertising expenses

    ② For sales or commercial purposes

    ❌ Production of goods for sale

    ❌ Production of the paid-contents

    ❌ If the profits may be earned from other contents

    ③ For other commercial purposes

    ❌ Use for company homepages or social network services introducing the company

    ❌ Use for commercial events or gifts

  4. Using the Contents that promotes, normalizes, or glorifies non-consensual sexual acts, sexual violence, or sex traffincking or in pornographic, mature, explicit, and sexually suggestive materials is strictly prohibited.

  5. Using the Contents in any illegal activities is strictly prohibited.

  6. Creating or distributing user generated contents (the “UGCs”) leading other users to believe they are the official contents produced by ZEPETO or Naver Z is prohibited. When using the Contents, you must indicate the source you used in creating the Contents.

  7. NAVER Z may immediately revoke permission for use of the Contents that violate these Operational Policies or relevant laws, and may request suspension of publication, distribution, and transmission of the Contents without prior notice. NAVER Z may also limit your access to Open API Service.

  8. These Operation Policies give you basic guidelines to help you understand how to use the Contents, and may be changed from time to time, and separate policies may be applied on a case-by-case basis.
